"Anyone can be a leader. It's about answering the call." - Tony Robbins @tonyrobbins
I want to share a Tony Robbins's newsletter "The Edge" that expain about Leaders and Leadership. Here is it. Enjoy!
Here’s the truth Dzikra: Leadership has nothing to do with your title—and everything to do with your influence.
I’ve worked with presidents, CEOs, and the world’s most powerful
decision-makers. You know what separates the leaders who drive real
change from those who just hold a position?
They execute.
It’s not the smartest person in the room who wins—it’s the one who
takes massive action. Ideas are a dime a dozen. Execution? That’s where
the real power is.
But here’s the best part: You don’t need a title to be a leader.
Leadership starts with you—your mindset, your emotions, your ability
to follow through. If you can influence yourself to think bigger, to
show up every day, and to push beyond your own limits—you can influence
anyone.
And that’s when everything changes.
I wasn’t born into power. I didn’t have a fancy degree or some
high-ranking position handed to me. I have a high school education. But
what I did have was hunger. And a desire to serve.
I became obsessed with understanding human behavior—why some people succeed while others settle. I sought out the best of the best, studied their strategies, and applied them relentlessly.
And that’s how I built a life of impact—by focusing on influence over position and doing what others wouldn’t.
If you want to lead—really lead—here’s where to start.
Lead yourself first – The strongest leaders take
command of their inner world. Master your mind, your emotions, and your
habits—because if you can’t lead yourself, how can you lead others?
Execution beats intelligence – Knowledge isn't power; it's potential power. Execution beats knowledge any day of the week. It’s not what you know—it’s what you do that counts. Stop waiting for the perfect moment. Take massive action now and course-correct along the way.
Model the best – Success leaves clues. Whatever you
want—better health, stronger relationships, financial freedom—someone
has already figured it out. Find those people. Study their strategies.
And take action.
So, here’s my challenge to you:
Decide right now to be the leader of your own life. Decide to raise
your standards. Take one action today that moves you closer to the life
you want. Whether it’s making that tough decision, having that honest
conversation, or committing to a new habit—do it today.
Because real leadership doesn’t wait. It doesn’t need permission.
The time to lead is now. Will you step up?
To your success and leadership,
Tony Robbins
